<p>Currently we are going through some very important changes on our network, these changes will provide various new features to integrate all the great services offered by WebMaster Community.</p>
<p>One major change is that the allowable set of characters for nicknames had been changed. In addition to alphanumeric characters, only "-" and "_" may be used as part of a nickname. However note neither "-" nor "_" may be used at the beginning of end of a nickname.</p>
<p>If you own a nickname containing disallowed characters, you will not be able to use the nickname. You may however merge that nickname with another nickname, whether it be an existing nickname or a newly registered nickname.</p>
<p>If you need to perform the merge operation, you can follow these steps to merge (i.e. keep all access, registration time, etc.) nicknames:</p>
<ol>
	<li>Register a nickname of your choice with another e-mail (<i>email2</i>) since we now only permit one e-mail per user</li>
	<li>Identify and switch to your new nickname</li>
	<li>Type: /NS COMBINE <i>oldnick</i> <i>oldpassword</i></li>
	<li>(Optional) Change e-mail address on new nickname to the one on <i>oldnick</i>
